How to prepare your etude:
- The most important aspect of the audition is to play with a great tone and steady tempo!
- The etude is performed without a recording or metronome. Tempo should be steady and should allow you to sound your best. Tempo should never be "fast" to show off technique. If you can play all of your notes with great tone and accuracy, then you can increase tempo.
- ALL WE ASK IS TO DO THE BEST THAT YOU CAN - even if things are not perfect or you have limited experience, we will find a place for you!
